Anyway, now onto my next post on here...

Aria from North Carolina, this band was around from 2001-2004 I might be wrong though. I got the pleasure of seeing them once as well as Saved By Grace and Rifles At Recess(Posted earlier on the blog check it out!) at the same show back in 2003. Now of course I was just lucky enough to stumble into the venue and had no clue who they were being 13 at the time but Aria and RAR blew me away that night with their technicality and energy.
They released one full length on Tribunal Records called ''As If Forever Really Exists'' and a demo. The band featured Paul Genet from the legendary Azazel on vocals and other members of some other awesome NC bands as well. The recording quality of AIFRE is super polished and good for an early 2000 metalcore release, the drums almost sound like a drum machine in my opinion. But the whole record is solid and it's definitely under rated, Tribunal put out so many good releases that no one talks about anymore.
My favorite song off the record is ''My Genesis, My Judas'' check the whole record out here:

ReplyDeleteHey dude, I am on the lookout for that demo! My computer crashed so I lost a lot of good stuff. I'm making trips back and forth to my dad's house to put cds on my computer/using soul seek like crazy to find some stuff. That demo will posted soon though! Yeah, I think it was the stuff after the full length.
ReplyDeletePost that demo man asap,I can't get my hands on it for a long time!
ReplyDeleteAnd their first release was an ep entitled "Anatomy Of A Broken Man" on Seventh Dagger records, one of the labels first releases I think.
